This page describes which data the visibility check processes.
What we store
The checked address without parameters, the time and the result of the check. Results from the public check are deleted after 12 months.
What we do not store
Neither IP address nor browser details nor the page you came from. To limit abuse we count checks per visitor using a value that is computed from the IP address, cannot be turned back into it and expires after 24 hours.
Cookies and statistics
The check sets no cookies and records no visits. Only the internal area for the ECHOLOT team uses a session cookie.
Services involved
The website and the database run at Cloudflare, the database in the EU. For the estimate of the page text, an excerpt of the public text of the checked page goes to DeepSeek and is processed in China. If the loading time measurement is switched on, Google receives the address of the checked page. If the security check is switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile verifies that the request comes from a person.
